Background:
The original Cardinal Wiseman School was opened in 1959 as a special agreement school catering for 456 boys and girls aged 11-15 years. Drama has a long and proud tradition at Cardinal Wiseman and it is taught with enthusiasm and vigour, and it is our firm intention to maintain and extend this high standard. The mission of the Cardinal Wiseman Library Resource Centre (LRC) is to provide students and staff with the skills to access and use ideas and information. Its aim to achieve this in two ways, first by providing a curriculum-based learning centre and secondly by being a place where recreational reading is promoted, encouraged and supported. The school ethos is based upon gospel values of:-Peace, justice, equality, truth, forgiveness and love.
